Wheel -
Hedgehogs have lots of energy and they need a wheel to run off some of that energy. Some hedgehogs will run on their wheel for 3 hours
straight! Be sure to choose a good wheel. No mesh or rungs, this is hard on their feet. Bucket wheels are the best. We sell these
on our
Accessories page. They are a little expensive, but worth the price for a good quality wheel.
Ball -
Hedgehogs can use Hamster balls. They like to explore. Carpet may be too hard for them to roll on. Hardwood floors, or a track is best.
Other Toys -
Toilet paper tubes - They like to look in them, and try to crawl into them. They will get stuck, and you will need to pull it off of them. This is a fun game for your hedgehog.
Hedgehogs also like cat/kitten balls with bells inside, toy trucks, tiny beanie babies, and boxes (shoe or cereal). Be creative, but remember that hedgehogs like to eat (or try to eat) everything.
